Biography

He was born on July 23, 1991, in the city of Zalishchyky. He studied at the Osyp Makovei Specialized School of Zalishchyky, grades I—III, with advanced study of information technologies and technological disciplines, and later at the Hnatiuk Brothers Gymnasium.

He graduated from the Ivan Bohun Kyiv Military Lyceum, where he studied from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, he entered the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University, first at the Faculty of Economics and later at the Faculty of Law.

He was a member of the Ternopil sports club «Kharakternyk». He was fluent in English and was interested in history. He belonged to the ultras movement, was a fan of the Kyiv football club «Dynamo», and represented the «Young Hope» group.

At the age of 15, he joined military-oriented training programs. While studying in Kyiv, he continued practicing contact martial arts, winning prizes in combat sambo and MMA tournaments. Later, he took up airsoft and the mixed contact martial art «free fight» seriously, earning the title of Candidate for Master of Sports
From 2009, he actively fought against illegal construction projects in Kyiv. He participated in efforts to save Lake Telbyn in Berezniaky, defend the Bilychanskyi Forest in Sviatoshyn, advocated for the preservation of the Museum of the History of Kyiv and Hostynnyi Dvir, and defended the Church of the Tithes from raiders. In 2012, he took part in the Language Maidan. During the same period, he became the leader of the combat wing of «C14» - «Medobory», which consisted of Kyiv nationalists and football fans of «Dynamo» and CSKA.

Together with his comrades, he organized the All-Ukrainian Championship among schoolchildren, the «Young Football Cup», for several years. He initiated and held various sports tournaments, campaigns, and training sessions, and joined the «Stiy za Ditei Fest» initiative - a festival aimed at supporting children without parental care.

During the Revolution of Dignity, he took part in the hottest spots of the protests, where he suffered his first concussion. During the unrest on Instytutska Street, he led a group of protesters.

With the beginning of the annexation of Crimea, together with other volunteers, he began preparing to take part in combat operations. In June 2014, he joined the «Strila» reconnaissance and sapper group of the «Aidar» Battalion, where he was nearly the youngest member.
