Biography
He was fond of free fight, rukopash hopak, sports tourism, and also played folk musical instruments, including the sopilka and drymba.
In 2010, he played the lead role in the music video by Tartak — Dzh…Angel
He was head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional branch of the All-Ukrainian NGO «All-Ukrainian Federation of Free Fight, Contact Martial Arts and Mixed Martial Arts» and of the regional organization of the «Direct Action» party.
During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he served in the Ukrainian Volunteer Army and the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade «Kholodnyi Yar». He took part in battles for Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, and Bakhmut. Shortly before his death, he transferred from the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine «Kholodnyi Yar» to the 78th Special Purpose Regiment «Herts». He was killed on June 25, 2023, in Zaporizhzhia region as a result of artillery shelling.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
