Program "Publishing worldview literature"

About the program

Nash Format Publishing House is the printing press of the Ukrainian Reformation, which has provided millions of Ukrainians with access to the world’s best books. Together with Nash Format, we connect our fellow citizens to the treasures of global thought-provoking literature because we believe: the more educated Ukraine’s citizens become, the greater our nation's chances of securing a rightful place in the global community.

Nash Format is a unique publishing house with its own ideology and is a leading Ukrainian publisher of non-fiction literature. From its inception, its mission has been to promote the values of education, professionalism, and responsible, conscious citizenship.

Publishing worldview literature

The history of Nash Format’s non-fiction began with works by Lee Kuan Yew, Nelson Mandela, Henry Ford, and Pavlo Skoropadskyi. By 2014, Nash Format had secured the rights to translate and publish several global bestsellers, including works by Ayn Rand, Peter Thiel, Hillary Clinton, Jim Collins, Naomi Klein, and others.

At that time, the niche of serious translated non-fiction literature in Ukraine was nearly vacant. The market was dominated by Russian and Russian-language books. The situation required a significant breakthrough to shift this balance.

Few believed in the success of this endeavor, but between 2015 and 2018, Nash Format initiated a true revolution in the Ukrainian translated non-fiction market. Today, Ukrainian publishers actively translate and produce masterpieces of non-fiction literature.

Nash Format is not just a publisher that prints and sells books—it creates a sense of belonging to the captivating story of "For Ours, By Ours, From Ours" in a modern version of community-driven publishing. It builds a space for shared principles and interests, enabling readers to participate in reshaping Ukrainian society’s consciousness. This goes beyond simply purchasing books—it involves engaging in book selection and financially supporting socially significant publishing projects, such as The Feynman Lectures on Physics, works by Roger Scruton, Friedrich Hayek, Bruce Ackerman, and translations of books for the military. This collaboration between Nash Format and the NGO Reformation has flourished and proven highly productive.

Reformation actively participates in socially impactful projects, such as publishing books like The Better Angels of Our Nature by Steven Pinker, The Right Side of History by Ben Shapiro, and The Culture Code by Daniel Coyle. By 2023, the organization had supported the publication of 33 titles. Three hundred copies of each book are delivered to Reformation's warehouse to be distributed free of charge to libraries and military units.
