On May 9, the NGO "Reformation" donated a set of books for lyceum students of the Ivano-Frankivsk Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The handover of the books took place on May 9 in the assembly hall of the Ivano-Frankivsk Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the celebrations marking the first anniversary of the educational institution. The solemn event was attended by lyceum students and their parents, the lyceum teaching staff and guests, including the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Inna Yashchuk, representatives of the state administration of the Ivano-Frankivsk region and representatives of the NGO "Reformation". We thank the acting director of the lyceum, police colonel Igor Shmelkov for the invitation to the solemn event!
The list of books that replenish the funds of lyceum libraries was compiled jointly by the Department of Communication, the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the NGO "Reformation". These books will contribute to the patriotic education of lyceum students, enrich their knowledge of history, and help develop critical thinking. In addition to high-quality non-fiction, the list also includes classical fiction.
The goal of the "Books for Lyceum Students" project is to provide 5 lyceums of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with books. Thanks to the organization's patrons, Maksym Kolyadenko, Yegor Nazarov and Volodymyr Doroshchuk, a set of books has already been transferred to the lyceums of Dnipro and Ivano-Frankivsk, and books have also been prepared for the Vinnytsia lyceum, which we plan to visit next.
In addition to the library, the Ivano-Frankivsk lyceum also operates a bookcrossing shelf. Lyceum students and teachers freely exchange their favorite books. Mostly, it is fantasy and classic prose, as well as books on psychology, history, etc. We also put a couple of our own books on the shelf, and we are sure that the donated books will be put to good use!
