Every year, the Unizh Forge hosts its traditional volunteer days dedicated to caring for the site. In the spring, volunteers tend to the orchard and vineyard, plant new greenery, and prepare the buildings for the summer season. In the fall, work in the garden continues with harvesting crops and collecting fallen leaves.

This past weekend marked the start of the autumn volunteer activities at the Forge. Together, we collected 60 bags of apples, which will later be turned into juice. The days flew by filled with good spirits and outdoor work.

The next team of volunteers will help with juice preparation, so we’ll spend the upcoming weekend once again in great company!

Volunteering is one of the cornerstone values of the Ukrainian Reformation Community. Only a person ready to take on any task and set aside personal ambitions for the sake of a shared goal can truly achieve meaningful results in collaborative projects with like-minded people and call themselves an effective patriot.
