Spring volunteering at Kuzna Unizh lasts from April 21 to May 10

Volunteering in Unezh has become a long-standing tradition. In a picturesque Dniester Canyon, like-minded individuals who share the values of the Reformation gather to work together. Participants in the spring volunteer camp help prepare the grounds, ready the facilities for summer camps, and engage in gardening and agricultural work. The Unizh Forge, a unique location, continues to shape responsible members of civil society.
This year, members of the NGO "Reformation," the NGO "Expedition," teams from Nash Format Publishing House and Sago Group, along with long-time friends of Unezh, joined the volunteer effort.
During the first week of volunteering, we:
-
cared for the young orchard;
-
cleaned the vineyard and planted 150 grape seedlings;
-
trimmed grass in hard-to-reach areas;
-
planted 52 arborvitae trees along the fence;
-
created an alpine rock garden and planted various plants in it;
-
cleared the old apple orchard of pruned branches;
-
set up an irrigation system for the newly planted arborvitae along the fence.
Much has already been done, and much more remains to be accomplished. So we warmly invite volunteers to this welcoming space, where you’ll find great company, fresh air, and a stunning canyon waiting for you!
