In a few weeks, a biological camp organized by the NGO "Reformation" will begin at the Unizh Forge

Throughout June, the organizing team received applications from motivated students, reviewed their motivation letters, and decided on candidates’ participation in the camp. In addition to a strong desire to learn and the knowledge they already possess, we also assessed whether the applicants share our values: critical thinking, a research-driven approach to learning, patriotism, and a commitment to achieving internationally recognized quality in their work.

On June 30, the application process closed, the group was formed, and now we are eagerly looking forward to meeting everyone at the camp, which will take place from August 9 to 24, 2025! The Biocamp program includes three sessions per day: laboratory classes in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, and immunology; as well as field research in ecology, zoology, and plant physiology. Weekend adventures are also planned — rafting through the canyon, football, volleyball, fishing, and evening campfires. Young researchers will have a full academic schedule, but also plenty of time for leisure and quality rest.

Classrooms at Unizh Forge have already been set up — desks, screens, and projectors are now in place to ensure comfortable and effective learning. We are deeply grateful to the Enamine Charitable Foundation for supporting the classroom setup.

We wish the students an exciting learning experience and hope this year becomes just the beginning of developing science-oriented camps at the Unizh Forge!
