"After-action review" is the US Army standard TC 25-20: "A LEADER’S GUIDE TO AFTER-ACTION REVIEWS". Competent leaders must understand and be able to apply techniques and procedures for qualitative analysis of the actions taken.
The ultimate goal of the project "After-action review" is a book of the same name has been published for free distribution among the military.
